ACE Hotel
QBG delivered a 40-week complete renovation of the ACE Hotel.
The project fully renovated 250 guest rooms with luxury interior finishes in both rooms and bathrooms. Additional work included two restaurant build-outs, conference and amenity spaces, and a complete lobby renovation. Infrastructure upgrades featured new plumbing, sprinkler, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Ronald McDonald House
QBG completed a 500 square foot media room for Ronald McDonald House, designed as a welcoming space for patients and their families.
The project featured the installation of a new glass wall system, upgraded electrical and lighting, new ceilings, polished concrete floors, custom millwork, and advanced audio-visual components.
Essex House
QBG delivered renovations across Essex House, a 160,000 square foot facility in New York, NY.
The project featured the modernization of second-floor bathrooms by introducing high-end millwork, stone, and glass finishes.
Additional upgrades included window replacements throughout the building, basement storage modifications, and hallway renovations to create a cohesive look. Suites 1703 and 909 were also enhanced with luxury marble shower walls and floors, complemented by custom millwork and refined finishes.
NYU Langone
QBG completed a 14-week complete renovation and fit-out of a 4,700 square foot office space in NYU Langone.
The project included reconfiguration of mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems, as well as new millwork throughout, a pantry, bathrooms, and office spaces, modernizing the facility and enhancing functionality.
Carmel Richmond Nursing Home
QBG executed the rigging and placement of three new 6,500 pound Columbia boilers on newly pored pads in Staten Island, NY over a four-month schedule.
The project improved the safety and functionality of the space: it included ceiling patching and painting, comprehensive firestopping of the mechanical room, installation of new lighting, and application of an epoxy floor finish.
Mount Sinai Hospital
QBG completed the replacement of three existing rooftop AHUs with two new units at the Queens branch of Mount Sinai hospitals.
The project was carefully phased to maintain continuous air conditioning through construction. Isolation booths were used to prevent dust and debris from entering patients rooms, and new steel dunnage was installed by rigging steel from both adjacent streets, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the upgrade.
Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
QBG completed the replacement of existing chillers in the Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
The project required removal of existing equipment and comprehensive logistical planning to coordinate work in confined spaces, implement roof protection measures, and manage neighbor communication.
The scope also included DOT coordination for street closures and multiple crane picks, ensuring a safe and efficient installation.
Interfaith Hospital Gift Shop
QBG delivered a renovation of the hospital gift shop in the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. The scope included custom millwork, a sleek glass storefront, and upgraded lighting to create a modern and inviting retail environment.
The Kennedy School
QBG completed a full gut renovation of a two-floor school facility, featuring new offices, classrooms, restrooms, a kitchen, and therapy spaces with integrated custom millwork and architectural lighting. The project’s design excellence was recognized with the AIA 2016 Education Facility Design Award.
Fusion Academy, Nationwide
QBG delivered a 12-week renovation of Fusion Academy’s facilities, nationwide.
The project transformed classrooms, administrative facilities, music rooms, pantry areas, core restrooms, and collaborative spaces with modern finishes, alongside comprehensive upgrades to HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical, and fire alarm systems.
Paramount Wellness Center
QBC completed interior and exterior renovations at the Paramount Wellness Center in Haddam, CT.
Interior improvements included patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and a kitchen.Exterior improvements featured upgraded landscaping, new sidewalks and asphalt, and the construction of ADA-compliant ramps, stairs, and handrails to optimize accessibility and site usability.
University of New Haven Football Stadium
QBG completed targeted upgrades at the University of New Haven’s DellaCamera Stadium, enhancing both stadium infrastructure and the game-day experience.
The project included the installation of new stadium lighting and the renovation of a custom end-zone container designed for alumni tailgating. Improvements to the container featured a new bar, custom stairs, four interior televisions, and rooftop VIP seating, transforming the space into a dynamic, multi-level gathering area for fans and alumni.
Verizon Media Studio
QBG delivered a fast-track renovation and modernization of Verizon Media’s social media studio, with significant upgrades to electrical and low-voltage systems.
The project also included coordination of furniture and implementation of a new layout to support content production needs.
Tinuiti
QBG completed the construction of two new conference rooms, featuring upgraded lighting, HVAC, and AV systems, along with new ceiling tiles and glass office fronts.
The project also included a custom-built portal seating area in the front lobby, creating a seamless transition into the entry of the kitchen area.
SEIU
QBG delivered a comprehensive build-out for SEIU, featuring a new reception area, multiple large conference and training rooms, and several huddle rooms for small meetings.
The project also introduced a café with high-end finishes, an open floor plan with landscape furniture, and executive offices positioned along the perimeter.
OATH
QBG renovated select areas across the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th floors for the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH).
The scope included reconfiguring mechanical, electrical, lighting, and low-voltage systems to support a revised layout. New carpet and fresh paint were applied throughout, with furniture installation coordinated to align seamlessly with the updated design.
Major League Baseball Players Association
QBG transformed six enclosed offices into a modern open-concept workspace for the Major League Baseball Players Association.
The renovation included new carpet, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, wallpaper, TVs, cubicles, and furniture throughout, creating a cohesive and refreshed environment.
Custom wall murals were installed as a standout design feature, adding character and brand identity to the space.
Industrious
QBG completed the build-out of multiple office suites, huddle rooms, conference rooms, IDF rooms, pantry storage, and an ADA-compliant restroom for Industrious.
The scope featured full installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler (MEPS) systems, including ductwork distribution, VAV units, upgraded fire alarm systems, and new electrical panels with distribution.
A new boardroom was also constructed with a movable partition, creating a flexible space that adapts to varying client needs.
AOL Build
Located in the heart of Manhattan, AOL Build required an expedited renovation and modernization to meet the demands of a new live studio environment.
